RPM Poker Tournaments
RPM Poker hosts a wide variety of tournaments around the clock every day. No matter what time it is, you can always find a tournament that’s still accepting new players or one that will be soon. The tournaments range in buyin from free all the way up to more than $100. The more you pay, the bigger the prize pool.
The tournaments at RPM Poker don’t tend to have huge numbers of entrants so what you will see are medium-sized prize pools in tournaments that are easier to place in. Instead of having to battle thousands of other players for a measly return on your investment, you can play against hundreds of players and stand a decent chance at making it deep into the money.

Guaranteed Prize Pool Tournaments
Guaranteed prize pool tournaments are always popular and for good reason: the poker site guarantees the size of the prize pool no matter how many players join. This means that if you join a poker tournament with a $50,000 prize pool but only 100 players show up, you’re going to have a huge prize pool relative to the number of players in the tournament.
The most popular guaranteed prize pool at RPM Poker is the $50,000 Guaranteed. This tournament takes place every Sunday afternoon. You can find out more by downloading the RPM Poker software.
If you’re serious about winning money in poker tournaments, you may also want to consider investing in a couple of poker tools. One that comes to mind first is “Poker Office.” This program can track your tournament play, keep track of opponent statistics, display those stats on a heads-up display and much, much more. Check out this page for a more detailed Poker Office review.
RPM Poker Bounty Tournaments
Bounty Tournaments have also proven to be a big hit at RPM Poker. In bounty tournaments, each player in the tournament has a bounty on his head. A small part of each player’s buyin cost goes towards providing the buyin.
Every time you knock out a player in a bounty tournament, you collect the reward on that player’s head. The cool thing about these is that you can make money without even making it to the money. For example, if there’s a $10 tournament, half of the buyin might go to the prize pool and half of the buyin will go towards your bounty. Every time you knock a player out of that tournament, you’ll get $5. If you get knocked out, you get to keep any bounties you managed to collect up to that point.
RPM Poker Shootout Tournaments
In a traditional freezeout tournament, the tables are periodically balanced to keep each table as close to full as possible. In shootout tournaments, each table is treated as a separate single table tournament, with the top finishers at each table moving on to the next round.
For example, if you play in a shootout tournament with 50 players, the tournament will begin with 5 tables of 10 players each. The top 4 finishers at each table advance on to the next round, which will consist of 2 tables of 10 players each. The play continues in this way until there is one table and one player remaining.
RPM Poker Freerolls
RPM Poker hosts freeroll tournaments to reward existing players and to give new players a chance to try out the software without actually risking any money. These tournaments don’t have any sort of buyin fee attached to them but the players can still win real money.
If you’d like to try out a freeroll tournament, all you need to do is visit the RPM Poker website, download the software and create an account. You don’t even need to deposit any money to have access to the freeroll tournaments. The only thing you need is a computer and a connection to the internet.
RPM Poker Satellites
Satellite tournaments are tournaments in which the players receive entry to more expensive tournaments instead of cash prizes. For example, if you want to play in the World Series of Poker but you don’t have an extra $10,000 laying around, you can instead try to win your way in through cheap satellite tournaments at RPM Poker.
In addition to satellites to major land based events, RPM Players can also use satellite tournaments to win entry to smaller tournaments such as the weekly $50,000 Guaranteed. Download the RPM Poker software to find a complete list of upcoming satellites.
